On your phone
Made for the work you actually do

What it does
One notebook, from cutting to customer
Find any plant
85,837 names for 9,497 plants, checked against Kew. Common, botanical, older and trade names, forgiving of typos.
Name and credit every photo
Same as last photo, more than one plant in a picture, animals on the plant, and the photographer's name on every image.
Propagation, stage by stage
Cuttings stuck, callused, rooted, divided, potted up, liner ready. Each batch builds its own photo timeline, so new crew can see what good looks like.
Problems straight to the office
Pests, disease or damage: snap it, note it, pick the yard block, and the office gets a message with the photo.
Wildlife on every plant
Caterpillar host plants, pollinators and birds, from 271,655 published plant-animal records.
Records you can trust
Nothing is overwritten: every change is a new line in the history, and undo is another. Originals are never altered. Private photos stay private.

Our first nursery
Now at a working nursery in Houston
Eden Lens grows out of Almost Eden's many years of plant records. It's being set up at a wholesale nursery in Houston for propagation photos, problem reports and the nursery catalog. Early access for other nurseries, gardens and growers is by invitation.
Where the plant facts come from: Kew's World Checklist of Vascular Plants (names); Dr. Charles Allen's Louisiana specimen data and books, used with his permission; GloBI (Global Biotic Interactions); HOSTS (Natural History Museum, London); iNaturalist; GBIF. Sources are credited on each plant page.
